Jennifer Bao received her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degrees from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of New York Chiropractic College in August 2010. This three-year, trimestered, program consisted of over 3000 hours of education; including a year’s worth of clinical practice. Between her second and third year, Jennifer interned at the ZheJiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital #2 in Hangzhou, China. She was certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in August 2010. This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique and Chinese Herbology.
Jennifer’s training includes modalities such as moxibustion, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, Asian bodyworks/tui na, and dietary/lifestyle recommendations.
Jennifer is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture Association of Colorado and the Acupuncture Society of New York. She is a registered acupuncturist in Colorado and Doula trained. Jennifer has never had her license suspended or revoked.
Kale practices a unique style of acupuncture called Neoclassical Acupuncture or NCA. NCA is a palpation-based system that is result-oriented and utilizes immediate feedback with each needle placed. NCA treats a root cause of imbalance finding that through a domino effect, symptoms are alleviated using as few needles as possible. Kale is conversationally fluent in Spanish, loves gardening, practicing the martial arts of Xing Yi Quan and Bagua Zhang, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their border collie Kola. For Kale it is a gift to be of service in the community with this amazing medicine.
Debi received her Master of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College of Boulder in August 2011, completing a three-year program that included 2,500 hours of education and 1,042 hours of clinical practice. She became certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in January 2012, which included certification in Clean Needle Technique.
After completing her internship at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China, she began practicing acupuncture in Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado in 2012. Her work there included treating approximately one hundred patients each week at a community clinic for more than three years; completing the Apprenticeship in Sports Acupuncture in 2013, a Healing Touch Apprenticeship, and Reiki Level 3 certification; and pursuing continuing education in pain, sports injuries, injury prevention, and recovery.
Debi uses a blend of acupuncture, dry needling, patented herbs, supplements, holistic nutrition, and lifestyle counseling to promote optimal physical and emotional health.
She is also certified as a Functional Nutritionist coach. As part of her commitment to supporting each patient’s holistic health journey. Her Functional medicine approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of health concerns rather than simply managing symptoms. It uses a whole-person approach that integrates nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, supplements, and targeted testing to uncover and correct imbalances. This deeper, personalized method supports optimized health and data-driven care.
Debi is committed to advancing the understanding and practice of Chinese Medicine within a Western medical context. Through ongoing engagement in research and applied clinical practice, Debi offers education, insight, treatment, and compassionate support to patients experiencing a wide range of health conditions.
